Every action on the 8bit-ai platform consumes credits. Your monthly plan includes a fixed number of credits, and you can purchase additional credits as needed.

Credit Rollover
Unused credits from your monthly allocation can roll over to the next billing cycle, subject to your plan's rollover policy.

Overage Charges
If you exhaust your allocated credits (including rollover), you can continue using the platform with automatic overage billing. Overage credits are charged at a fixed rate.

Managing Overage
- Auto top-up — Enable automatic credit purchases when your balance drops below a threshold. Set the top-up amount and threshold in billing settings.
- Usage caps — Set a hard cap on monthly spending to prevent unexpected overage charges. When the cap is reached, non-critical actions are paused.
- Manual purchase — Buy credit packs directly from the dashboard at any time.
